there are different kinds of people on it. people who “begrudgingly” have it for “necessary” reasons. people who keep in touch with those they went to high school with (MOVE FUCKING ON). those who have a fan page for themselves and use it to keep track of their fan page and promote their fan page and never realize how awful the fact that they have a can page for themselves is, let alone how “fan page” fucking sounds. people who want to cheat on their spouse/significant others. people who think they’re socializing. people who lose their cell phone once or twice a year. people who live in shitty places. people who are in high school. people who think it matters just like they thought high school mattered. people who shouldn’t even be on the Internet (relatives). people who add you as a friend even though you’ve never liked them and thought your made it clear when you keyed their car (you were 19, you’ve forgiven yourself by now). dudes/chicks you wanted to fuck in high school/soon after high school, and now they are a) fat, b) fat with children, or c) trying to bone you.

I got Facebook to find my sister. I did. it worked. we’re friends (in real life) and though we first communicated via Facebook, we have cell phones and we’re adults, so…

I’ve wanted to get rid of Facebook for a while now. I never did because I had some weird like, emotional thing where it was like, I found my sister on there! I shouldn’t delete it! as if Facebook had fucking feelings. but Facebook doesn’t have feelings. Facebook is like, cancer. you might not die because of it, but it’d be cool to just get rid of it ahead of time.
